NeighborShare, a non-profit supporting families in financial emergencies, needed a custom gift card system in time for the holiday season. The project required seamless integration with their existing platform, optimised donation flows, and a fast turnaround.
My Contributions
I led full-stack development and UX enhancements, ensuring a smooth donor experience while optimising performance and scalability.
✔ Custom Gift Card System – Developed a seamless send & redeem system, including an admin tool for bulk gift card generation to support corporate donations.
✔ React/Gatsby Development – Built and optimised the frontend for speed and scalability.
✔ Database Architecture – Designed a backend structure to support high-traffic gift card transactions.
✔ Checkout Flow Optimisation – Improved Stripe integration for a faster, more secure donor experience.
✔ Code Refactoring & Bug Fixes – Cleaned up existing code, eliminating inconsistencies and enhancing UI/UX.
